Bryant Garvin,
Dir. of Digital Marketing, OnPurple.com
Bryant Garvin likes long walks on the beach, but hates the throngs of people that swarm him mistaking him for David Hasselhoff.
Bryant has over 11 years of SEM experience, and his keen insight on harnessing the power of paid search have seen him tagged #PPCDictator amongst the PPC chat community, and curiously #HoneyBadgerOfTheInterwebz, along with #PegasusWhisperer.
He has worked in-house for Fortune 500 companies like Choice Hotels, as well as up and coming media companies like Purch. He also enjoys consulting for advertisers, including GreenDot, PersonalCapital, CheckPeople, Infomercials Inc and more, where Bryant quietly insists on doing his own stunts.
Bryant is like the Bob Ross of paid search and conversion rate optimization. “Without the right messaging and design when a user gets to a landing page, you are essentially throwing money down the drain” he says. Just happy little conversions everywhere.
Bryant is Director of Marketing at Purple where he has lead the team that has garnered over 200 Million Video views in the first year and many good night’s of sleep provided to the masses. Purple has completely revolutionized the boring mattress industry with their unique advertising and marketing strategy centered around engaging video. All of these things has caused several people to wonder quietly to themselves, “Is Bryant Garvin actually Dr. Emmett Brown?”
A few of the reasons why you should listen to everything that Bryant says:
- Managed over $72,358,398 in advertising spend
- Routinely gets out of tickets by asking “Don’t you know who I am?”
- Built, trained and managed in-house and agency teams
- Has been on Santa’s “Nice List” 7 out of the last 12 years.
- Increased mobile conversions and revenue by 924%
- Multiplied recurring revenue subscriptions by 275.6% within 90 days
- Shook up Fortune 500 Affiliate Program and grew revenue by 42% year over year, while also reducing the cost-per- sale by 40.7%
- Once became an overnight real-estate mogul owning over 7 hotel chains and utility companies, when he won a game of Monopoly.
- Client increased leads generated 53% by implementing simple changes recommended in a one hour call
- Was given a “Great Job!” sticker by his 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Twitchel when he got a 100% on his spelling test.

Peter Ferreira,
Co-founder and President, Nuts N More
Ferreira (born April 20, 1980) Entrepreneur & creativity is in his DNA. A young businessman who's into art, music and is deeply passionate about the process of working, working hard and learning along the way to attain a desired goals. Founder and creator of Nuts 'N More a high protein foods company, Peter aired on season 4 of the hit ABC TV Series Shark Tank, and struck a deal with investor Robert Herjavec and billionaire Mark Cuban.
Early life - From Providence, Rhode Island. His parents were immigrants from Portugal and he describes his parents as the true definition of what entrepreneurs are: calculated risk takers. "They came to this country with nothing, mom was a math wiz yet found herself working in textile factory in Boston, MA in her early 20's. Dad same thing - factory. After they got married in 1979, their entrepreneurial spirits worked its magic. They started up a cleaning and bookkeeping business. Before long they saved enough to start up their dream of a life time; they opened an Authentic Portuguese Bakery and its been operating successfully ever since!"
Peter started work at 8 years old packing orders at his parents family run bakery. He attended Providence Country Day prep school and graduated from Suffolk University in Boston, MA in 1999 where he received Bachelor in Fine Arts and majored in design.
Business career - In 2003, Peter purchased a turnkey Tanning Salon business on the Brown University campus, his first venture. In 2006 the business closed due what he calls "a perfect storm of the market outlook changing towards the tanning industry and me just not being smart enough, not being knowledgeable enough and most importantly mature enough to know how to right the ship". Peter took a insurmountable financial hit and it took him 6 years "which felt like a lifetime" to pay off his loan debts, but shortly there after, he couldn't resist and he found himself dabbling in his next and biggest venture to date.
Nuts 'N More - Started in 2010, Peter an avid fitness enthusiast had been adhering to a strict diet regiment and stumbled upon his high protein peanut butter concoction as a result of trying to get the proper amount of macro nutrients into his meals (meal prep). This disciplined lifestyle was needed to satisfy his fitness goals and needless to say the peanut butter concoction helped him attain the perfect ratio of Protein / Fats / Carb balance he'd been searching for without drinking another protein shake or bar. He took to his parents bakery, began working on different flavored recipes and soon began getting requests for the product by other friends and family that were also looking for a cleaner, healthier alternative to the store bought peanut butters. Not before long he had the products in local supplement shops across the country with the help of a friend, now Nuts 'N More Head of Sales Strategy (Paul Carlow). Within a year Nuts 'N More made over $100,000.00 out of the back of his family bakery and it was time for some aggressive expansion.
Shark Tank - Sitting on the couch one Friday night while trying to figure out how to get a loan for a peanut butter filling machine, Peter stumbled upon a new show on TV called Shark Tank. Like most Shark Tank fans he thought this was the greatest show ever and submitted his company info that night and never gave it a second thought. 6 months later TV producers called him to tell him know he made the cut and that Nuts 'N More had been chosen for an opportunity to pitch its small business story to the Sharks. On Friday March 2, 2013 Nuts 'N More aired on prime time ABC's Shark Tank, struck a deal for $250,000.00 with Mark Cuban and Robert Herjaveic for 35% of the company and its been a whirlwind roller-coaster ride ever since.
